The sound of his laugh, the crinkles I imagine around his eyes when he laughs, remain the same. Time and distance disappear… two friends having a chat on a Thursday morning. Serendipitous that much has changed and yet the “why” of the original conversation… remain the same. The conversation continues in my pajamas, in the woods, with a cup of coffee in hand.
