I am always amused and intrigued by “self imposed rules.” Those rules that we impose on ourselves, our lives to keep us safe, happy, engaged and healthy. Often the rules change when we see over time what works and what doesn’t.

Pay the mortgage or cave to my lingerie obsession??? Hum…

Lingerie…where it all began…

She calls me from the dressing room and whispers into her cell phone… “you won’t believe what I am doing!!!” With her hand covering the mouth piece so that NO ONE hears her, in a fervent whisper she says, “I’m at Nordstrom in the lingerie department. I’m getting new bras!”
