AAAHHH….Party Shoes
On 12/12/12 at 12pm I was in a bathroom stall at a local eatery. One might wonder…”such an odd place to be at such a magical, wish making moment that will only come around once”.. And yet, there I was… When I heard a “little girl” voice say,”those shoes are very pretty. When I get big, I want those shoes. I want to wear those shoes to a party…party shoes.” Not knowing who was in the bathroom or whom the child was referring to I was quite delighted while washing my hands, to hear a “little girl” squeal of delight, “mommy, those are the shoes, my party shoes!” I told her they were my favorite shoes and that she made my day. I realized admiration can and should be shared. Why keep it? Make someone’s day…
