2013 ~ Lesson #1

PATIENCE …as I go to sleep, I reflect on the day, memories, images, song lyrics from songs heard during the day, my “to do” list for tomorrow, that for which I am grateful, those I miss… all slowly creep into the beginnings of a dream. Some days are like a crazy carnival ride with flashing lights, spinning wheels, colorful costumes. Yet, today was cruising down the road, patiently getting it done, breathing, believing that it’s possible, sensing that it’s real. I saw a sign above a doorway yesterday; Be calm be brave and wait for a sign. Today, I was patient…and tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that…tenaciously patient.

Road trip to Louisville

A perfect day…Beautiful fog, Meeting, meeting, a wonderful afternoon with A., the most incredible smoked duck sandwich on a pretzel bun, a walk observing the city by night….complete with a quite drive home.                                       Good night…Sweet dreams…xo

I am always amused and intrigued by “self imposed rules.” Those rules that we impose on ourselves, our lives to keep us safe, happy, engaged and healthy. Often the rules change when we see over time what works and what doesn’t.
