Gelid Pulchritude
WORDS ARE SEXY!!!!! I can’t deny it…there is something about a person having the ability to woo, engage, entice, seduce, articulate with words so that I can actually “see” what it is they are saying…that it a true gift. For someone to be a polymath-a person of wide ranging knowledge or a wordsmith – a skilled user of words…are characteristics that make me weak in the knees. This obsession with words was born out of my love of reading. It is the origin of a word, or how a word can be applied to both objects and the characteristics of a person is what I find fascinating.
Gelid – an adjective that describes something as icy or extremely cold.
Pulchritude – a noun for beauty.
Beauty is an interpretation, subjective, an attraction, being in balance & harmony with nature, something that evolves over time and with experience.

Words can induce a blush, break, mend, sever, envelop, bridge. And, something so cold can be so incredibly beautiful…people too….
