The sun played “hard to get” when the moon kissed her cheek as he began to ascend…She smiled to herself for the sliver of stolen moments they shared daily as she faded away to sleep. “Have patience,” she said to herself, “it’s just another 12 hours.”… patience that he would return, for he was drawn to the light.

A goodnight poem written from a pillow with Miss Spicy Y…..

M.: There once was a girl with a teeny tiny curl.

Y.: And everyday she wore a necklace made of pearls.

M.: With her pearls, she wore a party dress that made her spin and twirl.

Y.: She twirled and twirled to the house of old uncle Earl, where she ate cake with delicious chocolate swirls.

Y.: As she crawled into bed with her tummy filled with cake, she laughed thinking that her day began with a teeny tiny curl.
