As a child we would drive around the city looking in awe at the magical light displays of December. Squinting my eyes until they were tiny slits, watching the lights melt together. The full moon only adds to the magic. The last full moon of 2013… Good night moon.

For one moment,
there is a sliver that overlaps, intersects, converges…creating something unique, powerful, strong, valuable, vulnerable, incredible, beautiful. Yet, when I wake in the morning brushing the silver mane out of my eyes, untangle my limbs from the sheets, I am met with silence, no one… I am confused…I feel and appear as though I have traveled far, only to wake up in my own bed wondering if it was simply a dream.
